Deal

I helped Doug out with selecting a suit at what felt like the crack of dawn. It all fell wonderfully into place, despite the early hour; it was really one of those shopping trips that you walk away from feeling good. He found a stylin' pinstripe gray suit, slim fit, that we were expecting would ring up to about $260. No sale signs or anything around it. At the cash register it came up to (...drumroll...) $81. Woot woot!

We were both conspiratorially quiet until it was paid for and we were out of the store, just in case there was some kind of mistake. Victory!

Next up

Sock monkey number two is in the works and looking adorable. This promises to be one fine pair of monkey friends.

Friend

Working on one very charming sock monkey, likely to be completed tonight. The monkey is a charming pattern of pink, red, and gray argyle. So far it has very gangly legs and a relatively short body. I suppose that is what happens when you use knee socks!

Switch

Making the switch back to this blog. Facebook is hitting the mark for photo sharing, and I prefer this site's format, so my MySpace account was becoming more and more obsolete. I'm giving it the old heave-ho and will be here instead.
